Kaab Gluay is a long-established restaurant located on Phrabarami Road in the northern part of Patong Beach. Kaab Gluay means ‘banana trunk’ in Thai, but Kaab Gluay is a restaurant that has more to do with seafood than bananas.
Entirely renovated at the end of 2013, this casual venue is famous for the quality of its food – it serves exclusively authentic Thai cuisine, for its down to earth atmosphere, and for its affordable prices.
If you would like to seek the most authentic Thai cuisine with a small budget, Kaab Gluay is the one you can't miss out. Come to have a Halloween feast of seafood!!

A legend in its own lifetime already, Sea Hag is not only the flagship of gay restaurant in Patong, but alsostanding on its own as a culinary landmark.
Owner Khun Kenya, has shown impeccable taste in decoration and atmosphere with the combination of good food and discernment. Comfortable atmosphere and delectable decoration are what make the restaurant popular. It's hard to find a better intimate dining location in this part of Patong – either gay or straight.
The usual suspect dishes are here – steamed lemon fish with rice – an army of seafood recipes, fantastically huge tiger prawns with different dipping sauces and chicken, beef and pork sate starters and they are all done with panache and commitment. Beer is a little expensive with major brands going for 90 baht for a small bottle. Cocktails are priced at 120 baht and Thai spirits are 90 baht.
