Dongdaemun Design Plaza looks like a spaceship moored in downtown Seoul. It took five years until finally completed, having been formally opened. Cost of 2 trillion won (about 451 million US dollars), DDP was designed by female architect Zaha winning the Pritzker Architecture Prize British. Harty (Zaha Hadid) creates the world's largest 3-dimensional atypical landmarks. 
To tie with climate of all-day business in Dongdaemun, DDP will remain open 24 hours. The square where all the art exhibition is free to the public. There is no line outside DDP, with surface embedded in 45,113-different-sizes of aluminum, filled with a sense of avant-garde metal.
With very futuristic streamlined exterior and interior, it looks like a giant alien spacecraft parked in downtown Seoul. The organization of high school baseball is located at Dongdaemun Stadium, Zaha design integrates the history and culture of the east gate of the harmonious blend of the existing building and the surrounding urban environment together.
