A royal urn holding the body of the late Supreme Patriarch, Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, was taken on a royal chariot in a procession from Wat Bowon Niwet Vihara to Wat Debsirindrawas on Dec 16. His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara Somdet Phra Sangharaja died on Oct 24, 2013, at Chulalongkorn Hospital. He was 100 years old.
